Yellow Death
Yellow sadness
in my blood
Says nothing
Frozen crusts
On silence' lips
waiting for a divine word…
In this state of despair
spreads everywhere
The cold of passing
December
And the apathy,
in the veins of life ,
running like
death
The years keep coming,

Nothing matters
to this dark night..
The sun
never rises
Nothing changes …..

خون میں اتری ہوئی
زرد اداسی مجھے
کچھ بھی کہتی نہیں۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
چپ کے ہونٹوں پہ منجمد پپڑیاں
منتظر ہیں کسی الوہی اسم کی
اس عالمِ یاس میں
ہر سو پھیلی ہوئی ہے
جاتے دسمبر کی یخ بستگی ۔۔۔۔
اور زندگی کی رگوں میں دوڑتی
بے حسی موت ہے ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
سال آتے رہیں
سال جاتے رہیں
اس سیاہ رات کو فرق پڑتا نہیں
دن نکلتا نہیں ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
کچھ بدلتا نہیں ۔۔ ۔۔۔۔۔
