بیگم شائستہ اکرام اللہ کا یومِ وفات

تحریک پاکستان کی مشہور خاتون رہنما، سفارت کار اور معروف ادیبہ بیگم ڈاکٹر شائستہ اکرام اللہ 22جولائی 1915ء کوکلکتہ میں پیدا ہوئی تھیں۔ ان کے والد حسان سہروری برطانوی وزیر ہند کے مشیر تھے۔1932ء میں ان کی شادی جناب اکرام اللہ سے ہوئی جو قیام پاکستان کے بعد پاکستان کے سیکریٹری خارجہ کے عہدے پر فائز ہوئے۔ بیگم شائستہ اکرام اللہ شادی سے پہلے ہی شائستہ اختر سہروردی کے نام سے افسانہ لکھا کرتی تھیں اور ان کے افسانے اس زمانے کے اہم ادبی جرائد ہمایوں، ادبی دنیا، تہذیب نسواں اور عالمگیر وغیرہ میں شائع ہوتے تھے۔ 1940ء میں انہوں نے لندن یونیورسٹی سے ناول نگاری کے موضوع پر پی ایچ ڈی کی، وہ اس یونیورسٹی سے پی ایچ ڈی کرنے والی پہلی ہندوستانی خاتون تھیں۔ تحریک پاکستان کے دنوں میں انہوں نے جدوجہد آزادی میں بھی فعال حصہ لیا اور بنگال لیجسلیٹو اسمبلی کی رکن رہیں۔ قیام پاکستان کے بعد وہ پاکستان کی پہلی دستور اسمبلی کی رکن بھی رہیں۔ قیام پاکستان کے بعد انہوں نے اقوام متحدہ میں پاکستان کی نمائندگی کی اور مراکش میں سفارتی خدمات انجام دیں۔ ان کی تصانیف میں افسانوں کا مجموعہ کوشش ناتمام، دلی کی خواتین کی کہاوتیں اور محاورے، فرام پردہ ٹو پارلیمنٹ، لیٹرز ٹو نینا، بیہائینڈ دی ویل اور اے کریٹیکل سروے آف دی ڈیولپمنٹ آف دی اردو ناول اینڈ شارٹ اسٹوری شامل ہیں۔ بیگم شائستہ اکرام اللہ کی ایک وجہ شہرت یہ بھی ہے کہ وہ اردن کے سابق ولی عہد شہزادہ حسن اور بنگلہ دیش کے سابق وزیر خارجہ رحمن سبحان کی خوش دامن تھیں۔ حکومت پاکستان نے ان کی خدمات کے اعتراف کے طور پر نشان امتیاز کا اعزاز عطا کیا تھا۔ 10 دسمبر 2000ء کو بیگم شائستہ اکرام اللہ متحدہ عرب امارات میں وفات پاگئیں۔وہ کراچی میں حضرت عبداللہ شاہ غازیؒ کے مزار کے احاطے میں آسودۂ خاک ہیں

Dr. Shaista Ikramullah was born on 22 July 1915 in Kolkata, a famous female leader, diplomat and renowned Adeba Begum, Dr. Shaista Ikramullah. Her father Hassan Suhori was an adviser to the British Minister of India. Her father in 1932 Married to Mr. Ikramullah who was appointed as foreign secretary after the establishment of Pakistan. Begum Shaista Ikramullah used to write fiction in the name of Shaista Akhtar Suharwardy before marriage and her myths are the important literary journalists of this time, Humayun. Published in literary world, women civilization and universal etc. In 1940, she did a PhD on the topic of novelty from London University, she was the first Indian woman to do a PhD from the university. Pakistan Tehreek In the days of Pakistan, he also participated in the freedom struggle and was a member of the Bengal Legislative Assembly. After the establishment of Pakistan, he was also a member of the first law assembly of Pakistan. After the establishment of Pakistan, he represented Pakistan in United Nations and Morocco. I perform diplomatic services. A collection of fiction in her books is incomplete, the proverbs of women of Delhi, from the curtain to Parliament, letters to Nina, Behind the Well and A Critical Survey of the Development of the Urdu Novel and Short Story Included. One of the reasons for Begum Shaista Ikramullah's fame is that she was happy with the former Crown of Jordan Prince Hassan and former Foreign Minister of Bangladesh Rehman Subhan. The Government of Pakistan marked her services as acknowledged. Honored. Begum Shaista Ikramullah died on 10 December 2000 in the United Arab Emirates. She is Asud Khak in the premises of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi in Karachi.
