اب کے دیکھیں جو اُسے، خاک نہ ہو جائیں کہیں
شعلۂ حُسن میں کچھ اور لپک بھی ہو گی
مل گئے ہوں گے کچھ انداز نئے شوخی کو
آنکھ میں نرم نگاہی کی جھلک بھی ہو گی
اور دیوانہ بنائے گی وہ خوشبوئے بدن
زلف کی اَور دلآویز مہک بھی ہو گی
اُس کی چاندی میں نئے چاند در آئے ہوں گے
اُس کے سونے میں کوئی طُرفہ ڈلک بھی ہو گی
آتشِ دستِ نگاریں کی نئی آنچ کے ساتھ
شاخِ گُل میں کوئی دلدوز لچک بھی ہو گی
ہو گا پھر پُرسشِ احوال میں جادو سا بھرا
تازہ فتنے لئے لہجے کی کھنک بھی ہو گی
جلوۂ یار سے دنیا میں اجالا ہے سرورؔ
دلِ شاعر کی نوا عرش تلک بھی ہو گی؟
