چکبست لکھنوی کی وفات

12 فروری 1926ء کو اردو کے نامور شاعر پنڈت برج نرائن چکبست لکھنوی وفات پاگئے۔ چکبست لکھنوی 1882ء میں فیض آباد میں پیدا ہوئے تھے۔ اوائل عمر میں لکھنؤ آگئے اور کیننگ کالج لکھنؤ سے قانون کا امتحان پاس کرکے وکالت کے شعبے سے منسلک ہوئے۔ انہوں نے ایک رسالہ ستارۂ صبح کے نام سے بھی جاری کیا تھا جبکہ ان کا مجموعہ کلام صبح وطن کے نام سے شائع ہوا تھا۔ ان کے کئی اشعار ضرب المثل کا درجہ رکھتے ہیں۔ خصوصاً ان کا یہ شعر ان کی شناخت سمجھا جاتا ہے:
زندگی کیا ہے، عناصر میں ظہور ترتیب
موت کیا ہے، انہی اجزا کا پریشاں ہونا

ہزاروں جان دیتے ہیں بتوں کی بےوفائی پر
اگر ان میں سے کوئی باوفاء ہوتا تو کیا ہوتا
رلایا اہلِ محفل کو نگاہِ یاس نے میری
قیامت تھی جو اک قطرہ ان آنکھوں سے جداہوتا

پنڈت برج نارائن چکبست پیشے کے اعتبار سے تو وکیل تھے لیکن شعر کمال کے درجے کے کہتے تھے دلچسپ بات یہ ہے کہ کہ انہوں نے کسی شاعر سے اصلاح نہیں لی۔ نثر نگار بھی خوب تھے ان کی شاعری کی خصوصیت یہ ہے کہ ان کے تخیّلات کو جھٹلایا نہیں جا سکتا۔۔۔زندگی اور موت کے متعلق تحریر کردہ شعر قابِلِ غور ہےبرہمن ہونے کے باوجود مسلمانوں کے لئے حب الوطنی سے بھرپور شاعری بھی چھوڑی ہے مرثیہ نگاری میں یدِطولیٰ حاصل تھا۔

On February 12, 1926, a renowned Urdu poet Pandit Burj Narayan Chakbast Lucknowi died. Chakbast Lucknowi was born in Faizabad in 1882 He came to Lucknow in the early age and passed the law examination from Canang College Lucknow. Connected to the department of advocacy. He also released a magazine named Sattar Sahab, while his collection was published in the name of the morning homeland. Many of his poems have the status of multiplication. Especially his poetry. What is life, appearance in the elements
What is death, being confused about these factors
….
Thousands of lives are given on the unfaithfulness of idols.
What if one of these were unfaithful
My eyes made the people of the gathering cry
It was the doomsday that one drop would have been separated from these eyes

Pandit Burj Narayan Chakbast was a lawyer by profession, but the poetry was said in a great level. Interestingly, he did not take correction from any poet. Prose writer was also good. The feature of his poetry is that his thoughts are. Can't be denied The poetry written about life and death is worth considering. Despite being a Brahmin, he has also left a poetry full of love for Muslims. Marsia Nagari had a Yedituli.
