ترے ستم کی زمانہ دہائی دیتا ہے
کبھی یہ شور تجھے بھی سنائی دیتا ہے
شجر سے ٹوٹنے والے ہر ایک پتے میں
ترے بچھڑنے کا منظر دکھائی دیتا ہے
جو دل میں بات ہو کھلتی نہیں کسی پہ مگر
کہے جو آنکھ وہ سب کو سنائی دیتا ہے
میں اختیار تمہیں اپنا سونپ دوں کیسے
کبھی خدا بھی کسی کو خدائی دیتا ہے
اداس رات کے آنگن میں ڈوبتا سایہ
بچھڑنے والے کا پیکر دکھائی دیتا ہے
خزاں مزاج ہے وہ ، چھوڑ دو اسے خاور
وہ موسموں کے سفر میں جدائی دیتا ہے
