موت سی خموشی جب ان لبوں پہ طاری کی
تب کہیں نبھا پائی رسم رازداری کی
ہم ابھی ندامت کی قید سے نہیں نکلے
کاٹتے ہیں روز و شب فصل بے قراری کی
بھول ہی نہیں سکتے اے غمِ جہاں تو نے
جس طرح پذیرائی عمر بھر ہماری کی
کم ذرا نہ ہونے دی ایک لفظ حرمت کی
ایک عہد کی ساری عمر پاسداری کی
سب انا پرستی کی مسندوں پہ ہیں فائز
سر کرے کڑی منزل کون خاکساری کی؟؟
پُرخطر رفاقت وہ جو مفاد کے تابع
سوچ بے ثمر اپنی ذات کے پجاری کی
ایک درد کی لذت بے قرار رکھنے کو
کچھ لطیف جذبوں کی خوں سے آبیاری کی
