لذتِ خواب دے گئے حُسنِ خیال دے گئے
ایک جھلک میں اتنا کچھ اہلِ جمال دے گئے
آئے تو دل تھے باغ باغ، اور گئے تو داغ داغ
کتنی خوشی وہ لائے تھے کتنا ملال دے گئے
دیدہ وروں کی راہ پر کون ہوا یے گامزن
وہ مگر اپنی ذات سے ایک مثال دے گئے
اس سے زیادہ راہزن کرتے بھی مجھ پہ کیا ستم
مال و منال لے گئے ، فکرِ مآل دے گئے
اہلِ کمال کو نظیر اہلِ جہاں نے کیا دیا
اہلِ جہاں کو کیا نہیں اہلِ کمال دے گئے
