سبق توحیدِ خالص کا پڑھانے آپ آئے تھے
خدا سے اس کے بندوں کو ملانے آپ آئے تھے
رُخِ اسرار سے پردہ اٹھانے آپ آئے تھے
حیات و موت کا چہرہ دکھانے آپ آئے تھے
ازل سے جو سناتے آئے تھے اس کے فرستادے
وہی پیغام دنیا کو سنانے آپ آئے تھے
جفا و جبر شیوہ بن چکا تھا اہلِ دنیا کا
محبت کا چلن اُن کو سِکھانے آپ آئے تھے
جکڑ رکھا تھا اک اک شخص کو زنجیرِ خواہش نے
ہَوَس کی قید سے ان کو چھڑانے آپ آئے تھے
ہجومِ جادۂ ہستی میں گم تھی منزلِ ہستی
شعورِ جادۂ منزل جگانے آپ آئے تھے
پریشاں تھے مصائب سے عزیز اہلِ جہاں سارے
غم و آلام سے اُن کو بچانے آپ آئے تھے
