دیکھا تجھے تو آنکھوں نے ایواں سجا لئے
جیسے تمام کھوئے ہوئے خواب پا لئے
جتنے تھے تیرے مہکے ہوئے آنچلوں کے رنگ
سب تتلیوں نے اور دھنک نے اُڑا لئے
ایسے گُھٹی فضاؤں میں کیسے جئیں گے وہ؟
کچھ قافلے جو آئے ہیں تازہ ہوا لئے
اِن سرپھری ہواؤں سے کچھ آشنا تو ہوں
گہرے سمندروں میں نہ کشتی کو ڈالئے
اظہار کیجئے کہ ذرا کرب کم تو ہو
اے دوستو! دُکھوں کو دلوں میں نہ پالئے
خود ہی اُٹھائیں اپنے جنوں کی جراحتیں
یہ روگ دوسروں کے نہ کھاتے میں ڈالئے
پہلے یہ کوہسار تو تسخیر کیجئے
فارغؔ ابھی فلک پہ کمندیں نہ ڈالئے
