تمہارے عاشقوں میں بے قراری کیا ہی پھیلی ہے
جدھر دیکھو جگر تھامے ہوئے دو چار بیٹھے ہیں
قیامت ہے ستم مردے پہ بھی ان کو گوارا ہے
مرا لاشہ اٹھانے کے لئے اغیار بیٹھے ہیں
لب بام آ کے دکھلا وہ تماشا طور کا تم بھی
بڑے موقعے سے در پر طالب دیدار بیٹھے ہیں
اثرؔ کیوں کر نہ جانوں اس کے در کو قبلۂ عالم
