مُمکن ہے اِلتجا میں ہماری اثر نہ ہو
ایسا نہیں، کہ اُس کو ہماری خبر نہ ہو
خاک ایسی زندگی پہ، کہ جس میں وہ بُت مِرے
خواب و خیال میں بھی، اگر جلوہ گر نہ ہو
وہ حُسن، ہے سوار کُچھ ایسا حواس پر!
خود سے توکیا، اب اوروں سے ذکرِ دِگر نہ ہو
ہو پیش رفت خاک، مُلاقات پر ہی جب!
کھٹکا رہے یہ دِل میں کہ، بیدادگر نہ ہو
دِل کی ہر اِک تمنّا کی بربادی پرہَمَیں
تشوِیش کم رہے یہ کہ حسرت نگر نہ ہو
ہم سے کہیں کہ، زہر ہے بِسیار گوئی بھی
یہ بات ناگوارِ طبیعت اگر نہ ہو
لے جائے کوشِشوں کی مُقابِل جو پِھر سے پاس !
ڈر ہے رہِ گُریز بھی، وہ رہگُزر نہ ہو
شامِل خشُوع و عِجز بھی کرلیں ذرا حضُور
تکلیف کیا دُعا کی وہ جس میں اثر نہ ہو
کرنے کو زندگی بھی ہو کیا زندگی خلشؔ
پانے کی آرزُو اُنھیں دِل میں اگر نہ ہو

It is possible that we don't have an effect in the plea
Not that he doesn't know us
Dust on such a life, in which those idols die
Even in dream and thoughts, if there is no light
That beauty, rides on such a senses!
What did you say to yourself, now don't talk to others
Progress is on the dust, only when we meet!
Let this heart be afraid that it should not be unhappy.
I am destroyed by every wish of my heart.
The desire should be less, so that there is no Hasrat Nagar.
Tell us that it's poison to talk too.
If this thing is not disloyal
The one who takes the efforts to come to you again!
I fear that the path of greed may not pass away
Please join us in front of us.
