"جشن اردو" اور اس کے سبھی شائقین کے لئے بڑے اعزاز کی بات ہے کہ ہم نے آپ سب کے تعاون سے اپنی منفرد سیریز "خاص مہمان" کے ذریعے اردو شاعری و ادب کی دنیا میں ایک نئی تاریخ رقم کر دی ہے اور یہ سلسلہ اپنے عروج کی طرف ہی گامزن ہے۔ اسی سلسلے کی ایک کڑی رام پور دبستان سے تعلق رکھنے والی اہم شخصیت ہمارے درمیان میں ہوگی۔ ہماری مراد اردو ادب و شاعری کا معروف نام جناب اظہر عنایتی صاحب ہیں۔

آپ کا اصل نام اظہر علی خان اور تخلص 'اظہر' ہے۔اظہر عنایتی 15 اپریل 1946میں پیدا ہوئے۔ لکھنو یونیورسٹی سے بی اے (ایل ایل بی ) کیا۔ وہ محشر عنایتی کے شاگرد رہے۔ بارہ سال کی عمر سے شعر گوئ کا آغاز کیا۔

شباب آیا غزل پر تو عمر ڈھلنے لگی"
اظہر عنایتی ، رام پور میں معاصر اردو کے سب سے معزز شاعر ہیں ، جو رام پور کے طرز شاعری کی نمائندگی کرتے ہیں۔ انہیں باقاعدگی سے امریکہ ، برطانیہ ، متحدہ عرب امارات اور بیرون ممالک میں بسنے والے برصغیر کے شائقین، اور اسی طرح قومی و بین الاقوامی سطح پر منعقد ہونے والے پروگراموں کے لئے بھی مدعو کیا جاتا ہے۔ سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارم پر بھی ایک بڑی تعداد آپ کے کلام سے مستفید ہورہی ہے۔ پھر بھی آپ کی سادگی کا یہ عالم ہے کہ رام پور میں پرانے ویسپا پر بلا تکلف آتے جاتے نظر آتے ہیں۔

عوام تھکنے لگے تالیاں بجاتے ہوئے"
