مشفق خواجہ کا یومِ وفات

اردو کے نامور محقق، ادیب اور شاعر مشفق خواجہ 19 دسمبر 1935ء کو لاہور میں پیدا ہوئے۔ مشفق خواجہ کا اصل نام خواجہ عبدالحئی تھا- ان کے والد خواجہ عبدالوحید علامہ اقبال کے ہم جلیس اور کئی علمی کتب کے مصنف تھے جبکہ ان کے چچا خواجہ عبدالمجید اردو کی معروف لغت جامع اللغات کے مؤلف تھے۔ قیام پاکستان کے بعد مشفق خواجہ کراچی منتقل ہوگئے جہاں انہوں نے 1958ء میں ایم اے کیا۔ 1957ء سے 1973ء تک وہ انجمن ترقی اردو سے وابستہ رہے۔ اس ادارے سے وابستگی نے مشفق خواجہ کی شخصیت کو جلا بخشی اور یوں انہوں نے تن تنہا کئی اہم تحقیقی کارنامے انجام دیئے۔ 1980ء کی دہائی میں مشفق خواجہ نے خامہ بگوش کے قلمی نام سے ادبی کالم نگاری کا آغاز کیا جس نے پورے برصغیر میں دھوم مچادی۔ مشفق خواجہ کی تصانیف اور تالیفات میں قاموس الکتب، خوش معرکہ زیبا، پرانے شاعر نیا کلام، اقبال از احمد دین، غالب اور صفیر بلگرامی، جائزہ مکتوبات اردو، تحقیق نامہ اور کلیات یگانہ کے نام سرفہرست ہیں۔ ان کا شعری مجموعہ ابیات کے نام سے اشاعت پذیر ہوا تھا۔ اس کے علاوہ ان کے ادبی کالموں اور مکاتیب کے کئی مجموعے بھی شائع ہوچکے ہیں۔ ٭21 فروری 2005ء کو اردو کے نامور محقق، ادیب اور شاعر مشفق خواجہ کراچی میں وفات پاگئے۔ وہ کراچی میں سوسائٹی کے قبرستان میں آسودۂ خاک ہیں۔
بجھے ہوئے در و دیوار دیکھنے والو
اسے بھی دیکھو جو اک عمر یاں گزار گیا

دل ایک اور ہزار آزمائشیں غم کی
دیا جلا تو تھا لیکن ہوا کی زد پر تھا

ہزار بار خود اپنے مکاں پہ دستک دی
اک احتمال میں جیسے کہ میں ہی اندر تھا

نظر بچا کے مجھے دیکھتا بھی جاتا تھا

کہ میرے ہوتے ہوئے بھی مکان خالی ہے

یہ لمحہ لمحہ زندہ رہنے کی خواہش کا حاصل ہے
کہ لحظہ لحظہ اپنے آپ ہی میں مر رہا ہوں میں

Death anniversary of Mushfiq Khwaja

A renowned Urdu researcher, Adeeb and poet Mushfiq Khwaja was born on 19 December 1935 in Lahore. Mushfiq Khwaja's original name was Khwaja Abdul Waheed. His father was a companion of Allama Iqbal and author of many academic books. While his uncle Khawaja Abdul Majeed was a well-known dictionary of Urdu, Jama Alghat. After the establishment of Pakistan, Mushfiq Khwaja moved to Karachi where he performed MA in 1958 He was a development association from 1957 to 1973 Stay connected to Urdu. The affiliation with this institution burnt the personality of Mushfiq Khwaja and so he did many important research works alone. In the 1980 s, Mushfiq Khwaja made a literary columnist with the pen name of Khama Bagosh. Started which rocked the whole subcontinent. In the books and compilations of Mushfiq Khwaja, Khamos Al-Books, Khush Marka Zeba, Old Poet Naya Kalam, Iqbal Az Ahmad Din, Ghalib and Safir Bulgrami, Review Books Urdu, Research Names and Kalayat Yagan He is top. His poetry collection was published in the name of Abiyat. In addition, many collections of his literary columns and makatib have been published. * On February 21, 2005, a renowned Urdu researcher, Adeeb and Poet Mushfiq Khawaja died in Karachi. He is in the graveyard of the society in Karachi.
