The name was Jalil _ Ahmed and Takhlis Jalil. Born on 16 \/ March 1904 in Annao (Awadh). After studying from Aligarh and Allahabad University, he was appointed a lecturer in the Urdu department of Aligarh Muslim University. Jalil Qadwai also wrote myths, comments and critical articles along with poetry and composed many poets.
