Description Aquila's
Yoga, Pilates, or Barre Instructor will teach group fitness class at Aquila health & fitness managed centers and programs. The class time is Wednesdays at 7 a.m. You can teach any of the three (yoga, pilates or barre) that you are qualified to teach. The pay rate is $60/hour.
As an Instructor, your responsibilities include:
- Teach safe group fitness classes
- Demonstrate proper technique and modify movements for different levels
- Educate members concerning safe techniques
- Adhere to departmental and club policies and procedures
- Adhere to client's policies and procedures
- Assist in promotions and external events
Location Washington, DC
Position Requirements Qualifications: - National group exercise certification (ACE, AFAA, or ACSM) or Aquila approved certification
- Experience teaching yoga, Pilates, or Barre classes and specialty certification or training as applicable
- Active CPR certification
