Quinlan Medical Management (QMM) is looking for a qualified, experienced and self-motivated, workers compensation telephonic nurse case manager to join our growing team of case management professionals.

Telephonic Case Manager Qualifications:

  • RN license required
  • Certified Case Manager or related case management certification required , to include CCM, CDMS, CRRN, or COHN credentials
  • Experience in workers compensation case management required
  • Knowledge of Florida Workers Compensation case law

Telephonic Case Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to assigned referrals
  • Ability to multitask
  • Submit reports in the allocated time frame
  • Ability to communicate effectively with appropriate parties and document communication.
  • Providing ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and overall evaluation of individual claim needs.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement in interactions with field case mangers, physicians, patients and families
  • Communicates required clinical information to adjusters to obtain authorization for proposed services
  • Plan, implement and coordinate the care of an assigned patient population during the acute and non-acute care phases of illness
  • Promote effective utilization of healthcare resources
  • Act as a health care liaison between the claimant, physicians and employer
