Big C Lumber is currently seeking a full-time Window Installer for our Mishawaka Window and Door facility.

Position Summary:

• Prep openings and install windows and exterior doors
• Climbing ladders and lifting windows
• Abide by OSHA Construction safety standards including fall protection requirements
• Conscientious with a focus on safety and quality

Window Installer Essential Responsibilities:

• Prep openings and install windows and exterior doors in new construction
• Use hammers, levels, and power saws
• Handle routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment
• Understand basic construction and window installation
• Meet quality standards and schedule deadlines
• Demonstrate use of good judgment
• Communicate effectively with Big C team members

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• General construction knowledge is helpful
• Basic knowledge of the building material industry
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 100lbs
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong problem solving skills
• Team player
• Strong mechanical / problem solving skills
• Possess positive attitude
