Hours of operation: 8:30am - 5pm

• The Volunteer Coordinator will contribute to the strategic planning and development of a comprehensive volunteer services program to include recruitment, assessment, training, engagement and supervision of volunteers to support patients, families, clients and the organization.
• The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for all operations and activities to include screening, training, assigning, and monitoring within the assigned service area.

1. Education/Regulatory Requirements:
   • Requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
2. Skills:
   • Requires 1 - 3 years of related experience in recruiting, supervision, volunteers, education, healthcare, and/or social services.
   • Demonstrated experience with oral and written communication which includes public speaking and teaching.
   • Demonstrated computer competency in office products.
3. Professional Requirements:
   • Maintain an active drivers license and reliable means of transportation.
   • Willing to travel within Palm Beach and Broward counties as needed.
   • Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends as needed.
