Requirements
UI/UX design experience, web design experience or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role in a SaaS, software, or digital product environment.
Expert level experience with Figma.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, best practices, and user-centered design methodologies.
Understanding of development impact for front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
Responsibilities:
Define an approach for creating design standards for the SaaS application incorporating brand standards
Establish design standards for menus, workflows, and various screens throughout the platform
Align interface UI/UX with brand guidelines, fonts, and colors for a uniform end user experience
Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces based on the existing Figma web kit and brand guideline
Document these design decisions in a comprehensive web kit within Figma following Atomic Design principals
Define menu taxonomy for the platform with product owners and provide various design approaches for review
Work closely with product managers and designers to define wireframes for various screens throughout the platform’s workflow
Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and improve the user experience.
Ensure responsive design compatibility across a variety of devices and browsers.
Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components.
Collaborate with front end developers to ensure alignment with back-end systems.
Stay up to date with emerging UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies to keep the product experience fresh and relevant.
Troubleshoot UI/UX problems and implement solutions.
Work with tools such as Figma for design tasks.
