Traffic (Rochester – up to 2 position)

This job is a mix of field and office work. Duties could include assisting with field studies, data gathering, traffic counting, asset management and reporting, field equipment inspections and tabulations, and database or spreadsheet creation. This hands-on position will also work with MnDOT technology and computer applications. Typical Hours (Monday – Friday) 8:00AM – 4:30PM

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Knowledge and application of advanced mathematics including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Knowledge of computer software used in testing and design work and ability to use windows based operating systems.
• Ability to understand technical documents and follow instructions.
• Candidates must be currently enrolled or enrolling within three months as a full-time student (six semester/9 quarter credits) in a post-secondary or graduate program with a GPA of at least 2.0.
• Valid Class D Driver’s License.
