We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Trademark and Litigation Assistant to join our esteemed legal team. This role will involve working closely with our legal department, providing crucial support in trademark and litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal correspondence, drafting, and litigation support, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team, and to contribute to the success of our legal endeavors. Responsibilities: 1. Drafting and preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs. 2. Managing calendars for multiple attorneys, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates. 3. Coordinating and scheduling conference rooms for meetings and depositions. 4. Assisting in the preparation and filing of all court documents and have knowledge and experience with e-filing in state and federal courts. 5. Providing litigation support including but not limited to, managing case files, client reporting, and coordinating case management activities. 6. Handling USPTO procedures and filings. 7. Managing and tracking expenses using Concur Expense and ensuring timely submission of all expense reports. 8. Utilizing legal software such as Surepoint and Anaqua for docketing and case management. 9. Preparing Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Contents (TOC) for legal documents. 10. Assisting in the preparation of trademark applications and renewals. 11. Providing general administrative support as needed, including data entry, filing, and answering phones. Qualifications: 1. 3+ years of experience as a Trademark and Litigation Assistant or similar role in the legal industry. 2. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with legal software such as Surepoint and Anaqua. 3. Experience with USPTO procedures and filings. 4. Familiarity with TOA and TOC. 5. Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 8. Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and editing skills. 9. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 10. Knowledge of Concur Expense for expense management. 11. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion. 12. A paralegal certificate or equivalent is preferred. Interested in hearing more?
