Description Shift Lead: A shift lead is in charge of providing direct supervision to the squad independently along with as part of the supervisory team at Smalls. Their duties include covering for employee absences, managing cash, deploying the squad and resolving problems that occur during their shift.
Job Duties:
- Deploying squad members based on pre-determined shift schedules for squad members
- Monitoring attendance and tardiness during shift
- Assigning duties to specific employees based on role and skills
- Supervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessary
- Assist with training new and current squad members on tasks
- Handling or escalating customer issues and managing conflicts
- Adhering to company policies and health, safety and employment standards
- Balancing cash drawers and preparing cash deposits
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements Qualifications:
- Experience running shifts in fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate duties and expectations effectively
- Guest concern resolution experience a plus
- Experience training a plus
- Cash handling/management skills
- Acquire or already have a Manager food safety card within 30 days of employment
- Must be over the age of 18.
