Position Overview:

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be at the forefront of protecting our clients’ properties and ensuring the safety of all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor and report any unusual activities. Utilize surveillance systems to enhance security measures.
• Incident Response: Act promptly to investigate alarms, disturbances, and other incidents. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all events.
• Customer Service: Provide a positive security presence and engage with the community to foster a sense of safety and support.
• Collaboration: Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services to coordinate responses to incidents.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on the latest security protocols and practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliability: Consistently dependable and punctual.
• Alertness: Keen eye for detail and the ability to remain vigilant at all times.

• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Flexibility: Open to working various shifts and adapting to changing schedules.
• Experience and Licensing: Previous security experience is beneficial. A DCJS Unarmed License is preferred, or the willingness to obtain it within 90 days.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clearance: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to sit, stand, drive, and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
