Do you want to help small businesses show up better on Google? Are you up-to-date on the latest marketing trends? Use your powers for good as an SEO Specialist at CGI Digital! Our SEO Specialist helps guide the direction of our SEO strategies for small businesses nationwide. You will serve as a subject matter expert in local SEO and work closely with our Account team to make sure our clients rank well!

Your Day to Day

• Auditing existing client's websites according to on-site SEO best practices
• Implementing SEO tactics on client’s CGI-built websites (Wordpress / Divi).
• Editing client's 3rd party websites for SEO (Squarespace, GoDaddy, Weebly, Wix, etc.).
• Routine on-site content optimization and keyword research
• Working with a team of Client Managers to drive SEO results for clients.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and presenting them to the account team on a bi-monthly basis.
• Developing new & additional processes to improve our SEO product.

• You are obsessed with SEO and results for local businesses.
• You have experience with content management systems (WordPress, etc.)
• You’re familiar with Google products & services
• You have strong attention to detail and can effectively meet expectations
• You are an effective verbal and written communicator.
• You maintain the ability to work independently and within a team when needed.

Extra points if…

• 1+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing or a related field.
• Knowledge of Local SEO Tactics and experience carrying out SEO campaigns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Salary range: $40,000 - $45,000

Eligible for performance based quarterly bonuses
