Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: The Risk Data and Reporting Senior Analyst II will deliver complex and comprehensive risk reporting, data, and business intelligence. The role is primarily aligned to support stakeholder needs, and initiatives within the Risk Management Organization, but may also support other areas of Truist. This position will sit in-office 4 days a week, and 1 remote. No remote option available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, implement, and execute complex recurring or ad hoc reports, analyses, data, system-related, or operational tasks in accordance with departmental processes and controls. Investigate and research unexplained variations in reports, data, systems, etc. Explain results of reports and research to department management and other stakeholders. Develop and administer controls to ensure the integrity of departmental process. Evaluate and recommend improvements to departmental processes. Assist with development of departmental documentation, particularly for highly complex and technical activities. Serve as a consultative resource on risk reporting, data, system, or related issues. Engage with stakeholders to identify business objectives and scope solution requirements. Lead moderate projects with heightened risks, complexity, and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger initiatives. Mentor less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within a professional discipline. Solid understanding of key business processes and strategies. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities. Ability to lead moderately complex projects. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in reporting, business intelligence, systems, technology, data, risk, compliance or related areas Advanced skills in data wrangling, data engineering, data science, or related areas.
