At Bohler,we empower the ambitious to become the accomplished.We are looking for dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented Crew Chiefs to join our Mid-Atlantic Survey Team. As a Crew Chief, you will collect and manage critical data for the survey staff and engineers to complete dynamic projects and fulfill client needs.
Our Richmond, VA office is looking for a Project Manager (Land Survey) who embodies this purpose.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
As a Project Manager (Land Survey), you will:
+ Planning, directing, and coordinating operations, including project managers, staff surveyors, technicians, and field operations
+ Personnel management, proposal generation, and business development
+ Manage master contracts including fee estimation, project set-up, and execution of work
+ Prepare work plans, assemble project teams, delegate tasks and ensure compliance with scope and timely completion
+ Prepare client invoices, deliverables, and project-related correspondence
+ Responsible for accuracy, timeliness, and financial performance of assigned projects
+ Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
Qualifications
What You'll Need:
+ Bachelors degree in Surveying or related field required
+ 15 + years of experience required with a minimum of:
+ 5 years in a personnel management capacity
+ 5 years in a business development capacity
+ Professionally licensed in land surveying in the state of Virginia or ability to obtain license within 6 months
+ Licensure in other jurisdictions a plus
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Proven ability to lead staff, think critically, and provide support to multiple projects simultaneously
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment
+ Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus
+ Ability to prepare and review technical proposals
+ Successfully oversee the production of ALTA, Topographic, Boundary, utility and route survey
