Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed Professional Surveyor to join our team in Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be pivotal in overseeing and executing land surveying projects, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, and delivering precise data to support design and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field surveys and manage survey teams for boundary, topographic, and construction layout projects.
  • Prepare and review survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
  • Utilize and maintain modern surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Stay updated on Massachusetts surveying laws and standards, ensuring compliance in all projects.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Massachusetts (or eligible for reciprocity).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and surveying tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
