Caring In-Home Private Duty CNA - Part-Time, Day Shifts

Location:Union City, TN (Patient's Home)

Schedule:Monday to Friday, with flexible hours: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide caring, one-on-one support to a patient in their home.

+ Help with daily living activities like personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.

+ Monitor the patient's health and keep accurate records.

+ Work alongside a great healthcare team to ensure the best care possible.

Requirements:

+ Current CNA certification.

+ Experience in home healthcare is a plus but not required.

+ Great communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage your time well.

+ A compassionate and patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

+ Responsible for assisting clients with either personal care or home management tasks

+ This would include assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding and ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care related tasks

+ Home Management includes tasks that include basic housekeeping, shopping and other related housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

+ Minimum age requirements is 18 years

+ Valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy

+ Certification, if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide care

+ Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide

+ Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach
