BILLINGS, MT (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES)-A Jet-setting family seeks a FLEXIBLE FULL-TIME NANNY to care for their happy and adventurous 2-year-old daughter and baby on the way! The baby will mostly likely be cared for by a newborn care specialist for the first 6 months. Dad is an entrepreneur and works long hours. Mom stays at home but is often out and about. They travel together as a family on business often. Their daughter is well-traveled, having been on 30+ flights in just the first couple years of her life. Thus, they seek a travel-ready nanny with a valid passport who can accompany them on domestic and international trips lasting anywhere between 2 days to 2 weeks in duration. The nanny will need to work independently, especially while traveling. They will look to their nanny to take on the responsibility of preparing for the trip by packing everything for the child, from diapers down to the stroller, and planning child-friendly activities and adventures in new cities. Must be able to navigate busy airports with a child in tow. Travels may be coordinated with other family members who also have caregivers. Nanny will need to be comfortable collaborating with other nannies during trips.
The schedule requires a high level of flexibility, with core hours from 9am-5pm and the possibility of working every other Saturday, ensuring a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will embrace flexibility, including the potential for weekend work and travel. The role necessitates adaptability across all seven days of the week, with the family aiming to provide two consecutive days off each week, although this is not guaranteed. The nanny must be open to having a flexible schedule and willing to work any 7 days of the week. Additionally, the nanny should be available for evening shifts on weekdays during parental events or business meetings. There may be occasional independent travel by the parents, requiring the nanny to work overnight 5-10 times per year.
The position can be LIVE-IN or LIVE-OUT. Live-in accommodations consist of a private bathroom and bedroom in the familys home. They are open to considering out-of-state candidates and will provide relocation assistance within reason depending on the candidate and situation. A family car can be provided if needed, but nanny should have their own safe, reliable vehicle. Must have a valid drivers license and flawless driving record! They have a sweet golden retriever in the homemust love dogs!
Duties include complete childcare and household duties related to the baby (laundry, dishes, etc.). They have a weekly cleaning service but ask the nanny to pitch in to keep the home neat and orderly between cleanings. Must be a tidy and considerate housemate! Although it is not required, they would welcome a nanny who loves to cook. The ideal candidate is experienced with infant/toddler ages, nurturing, and loving. Someone who is educationally focused and able to come up with age-appropriate activities aiding in the childs growth and development.
They seek a true professional who can provide affectionate care while bringing structure and positivity to the home. A plus if you speak a second language (French is preferred). Someone who is FLEXIBLE and experienced but respects the parents as the ultimate decision-makers in how they want to raise their child.
They are relaxed and laid back at home but are serious professionals during travel and business meetings. Thus, they seek a poised, self-sufficient nanny who can work independently, especially while traveling, read a room, and recognize when it is appropriate to step in and step out.
Pay is $25-32/hour plus paid time off. Start date is ASAP!
