Job Description
Large and successful law firm needs an entry level Marketing Assistant. If you have a college degree and some marketing experience this could be your next dream job.
**The position is in the office 3 days a week and remote 2 days a week after one month of in-house training.
Hours: 9:00 to 5:00. There will be events to attend during and after work hours.
Specific responsibilities for this position include:
· Maintaining the department’s internal tracking charts, databases, and filing systems
· Providing logistical support for marketing seminars and other firm events
· Monitoring docket filings and alerts for potential targets and coordinating with attorneys to draft pitch letters
· Assisting attorneys with client pitch preparations and RFP responses, including editing, formatting, and proofreading
· Assisting with website maintenance, including updating attorney biographies, practice area descriptions, and news items
· Assisting with drafting and preparing submissions to legal ranking publications
· Conducting research to support business development efforts and initiatives
· Executing administrative requests or other projects as needed
Specific Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess a four-year undergraduate degree. Candidates must be self-motivated, have a demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, efficiently manage tasks, and produce a high-end work product in a fast-paced environment as well as work well with a team across offices. Outstanding organizational, administrative, and communication (oral and written) skills are required. Candidates must have a very strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor. Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite is necessary. Previous law firm experience is a plus.
Salary
Salary is $55k to $60K depending on experience.
