Here's What You'll Get To Do - Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform work duties
- Ensure the machines and tools are in good working order, perform daily cleaning and light maintenance on machinery/tools
- Welding and cutting for Fabrication
What We're Looking For Oldcastle BE is seeking a full-time individual to work full-time as Maintenance Technician. This position involves maintaining and repairing production equipment and plant facility. Strong electrical experience and understanding preferred.
Good organizational skills. A strong mechanical aptitude. Basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems is needed. Ability to understand and work from mechanical and electrical drawings. Basic welding and cutting experience necessary.
- 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience
- *In lieu of 3-5 years experience, a B.S. or A.S. in Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Technology is acceptable at least 2 years experience.
- Up to three years electrical experience, including installation of electrical services and reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Up to three years of experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
- Experience in Fabrication highly desirable
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
Physical Requirements - Must be able to stand, lift, bend, twist, walk and reach frequently
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to occasionally work outside
