About the role The Manager, Fraud Prevention Omni / Retail has primary responsibility for fraud management operations for all KnitWell brands. This individual will collaborate closely with all members of the analytics team, playing a pivotal role in establishing a robust foundation for the investigation prevention strategy. By doing so they will leverage KnitWell's fraud management platforms as well as internal systems to detect and mitigate fraud risk to our brands. They will be familiar with the fraud landscape, Omni & Retail with experience in establishing/standardizing processes, experienced in providing in depth investigation to support our asset protection leaders and comfortable with analyzing datasets for actionable insights.
The impact you can have - Familiar with the chargeback processes, will analyze chargeback reporting and provide strategic analysis for both Omni & Retail.
- They will use fraud engine as needed to reflect current risks/exposures, including recommendation in modifying risk strategies.
- Responsible for developing strategies, establishing guidelines, and executing fraud investigations partnering with Regional Asset Protection leaders.
- Review, investigate, and track suspicious activity, analyze trends, communicate fraud/security threats to management, and provide recommendations for loss mitigation as needed
- Proactively collaborate with the entire fraud analytics team to make informed decisions regarding detection and prevention strategies.
- Build relationships with internal partners, ensuring proactive communication to understand and be responsive to business needs.
- Ability to learn new applications as needed to support KnitWell's overall fraud strategy.
- Ensure as a team we are consistently striking the right balance between fraud mitigation and customer experience.
- Drives efficiencies by having continuous improvement mindset.
- Ad Hoc Reporting as needed.
- Build relationships with industry peers and groups and is knowledgeable about industry best practices.
You'll bring to the role - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 -5 years' experience in fraud prevention and investigation.
- 3-5 years fraud management experience in a leadership role, preferably in the retail environment
- Expert knowledge of Ecommerce fraud management applications, and knowledge of fraud risks associated with credit and debit cards a must for employment.
- Familiar with Customer Contact Center applications to include CRM, OMS, etc.
- Excellent problem solving analytical and investigative skills, detail-orientation, independent thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time at a high-level of attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to peers and management
- 2+ years of data analytics, preferably focused on fraud risk
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (excel, word & PowerPoint a must).
- Ability to work flexible hours.
