Position: LTL Shipping Coordinator

Reports to: Team Captain - Shipping

Back-Up Personnel: Team Captain-Shipping

Location: Waukegan, Illinois, about 40 miles north of Chicago’s Loop

Position Summary:

The primary role for the LTL Shipping Coordinator is overseeing all outgoing products and materials and to keep records of all documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • LTL domestic order requests.
  • Schedule all LTL carriers for pickup and deliveries
  • Confirms daily shipments

Requirements:

Knowledge and Characteristics:

MUSTS:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
