We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Loan Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, ensuring they receive the best financing options tailored to their needs. Responsibilities

• Meet with loan applicants to collect information for loan applications and address questions about the process.
• Analyze applicants' financial status, credit history, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Approve loans within specified limits and refer loan applications beyond those limits to management for approval.
• Explain available loan and credit options, as well as the terms of each service.
• Work closely with senior leadership to review applications for verification and recommendations.
• Ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate per company policy.
• Review and update credit and loan files regularly.
• Obtain and compile necessary financial documents from loan applicants, including credit histories, income data, tax returns, and other relevant materials.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints efficiently.

Required Experience

• 5+ year of proven experience as a Loan Officer within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of loan processing, underwriting, and loan servicing practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients.
• Foundational computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic internet navigation.
• Ability to work with web-based applications.
