Specific Responsibilities:

• Complete understanding of; process improvement, verbal communication, functional and technical skills, controls and instrumentation, supply management, tooling, inventory control, attention to detail, and proper judgment.
• Duties which require the planning and performance of work of some complexity, involving a sequence of operations.
• Must have an expansive knowledge in manufacturing and design concepts.
• Ability to have an advanced knowledge of fabrication tooling, fixturing and fixture tabling.
• Must have a true understanding of manufacturing equipment, ability to understand function of equipment, capabilities, understanding of equipment needed to achieve finish part requirements.
• Understanding of all outsourcing requirements; effects from heat treat, plating operations and non-destructive testing (NDT), and how it affects the end part.
• Ability to assist processing, able to clearly explain operations and steps needed to make a completed part.
• High leadership skills, able to step into the role of supervision if called upon.
• Ability to mentor coworkers to ensure productivity, quality and standards are met.
• Ability to pass required weld test.

• High School Diploma
• Weld courses either in high school or through skilled trade or college.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch.
• The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
