Job Details
Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join a dynamic team within the energy sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to key legal and business strategies in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on a variety of issues impacting the organization.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and briefs.
Act as a key negotiator, representing the organization in high-stakes discussions.
Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
Assist with compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Represent the organization in legal proceedings, as necessary, safeguarding its interests.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven Expertise: 5+ years as in-house counsel or with a law firm, with a focus on the oil and gas sector.
Legal Mastery: Deep knowledge of legal issues related to contracts, labor matters, disputes, and daily operational needs.
Sharp Skills: Exceptional legal drafting, negotiation, and research abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Strategic Thinker: Capable of anticipating legal risks and offering proactive solutions to mitigate them.
Ethical Leadership: Strong moral compass and sound judgment, ensuring the highest standards of integrity.
Effective Communicator: Clear and concise in both written and verbal communication, adept at influencing diverse stakeholders.
