What You Will Do: As an experienced HR Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance reviews, compliance, and talent development. Your leadership will play a critical role in enhancing employee engagement, optimizing compensation and benefits, and ensuring the company's HR policies and practices are effective, fair, and aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Compensation & Benefits Strategy: Analyze trends, propose competitive compensation and incentive structures, and ensure our offerings are attractive to top talent while maintaining internal equity. Talent Development: Design and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee growth and career progression across all levels. Employee Relations & Discipline: Lead employee relations efforts by managing disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations in line with best practices and legal requirements. Policy Development & Enforcement: Review and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and industry best practices. Performance Management: Support and coach management teams to effectively assess, develop, and manage employee performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, overseeing investigations and audits, and representing the company in hearings as needed. Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's overall objectives, including employee retention, engagement, and performance. Data Integrity & Documentation: Manage personnel files and HRIS system to maintain data accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of HR management experience , including experience managing teams and leading HR initiatives at a strategic level. 3+ years in a supervisory role with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop HR teams. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations, including multi-state compliance. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with leaders at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with HR metrics and data-driven decision-making to drive improvements and demonstrate HR's impact on business outcomes. Experience with HRIS systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or wholesale industries is a plus. A people-oriented, results-driven approach with a passion for building a positive workplace culture and driving employee engagement.
