Job Description
Graphic Design Intern - Summer Internship Program
We are seeking Graphic Design students for our 2025 summer internship program. Interns will be competitively selected to join Web Development and Design working alongside talented web and corporate designers!
We offer hands-on experience in a casual, yet professional work environment, making it an excellent place to learn and grow. Interns will be based at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, Illinois (temporary housing may be available). Applicants must be available for full-time work from mid-May to mid-August 2025.
Core Responsibilities:
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will contribute to a range of projects, including:
Designing for internal and external websites.
Creating graphics for print, advertising, and mass mailings.
Assisting with video production.

Applicant Requirements:
Candidates should be pursuing education in Graphic Design, User Interface Design, or have equivalent on-the-job experience. Ideal candidates are pursuing careers that combine design skills with problem-solving abilities and knowledge of computer systems and applications.
Must have completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework, including at least six courses in Graphic Design or User Interface Design, or have at least one year of experience in a Graphic Design role.
Requires a minimum of 6 months’ experience with standard graphic design and video editing software.
Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications is required.
Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer (no visa sponsorships available).
Organization Structure and Interfaces:
In this position, you will be part of the Web Solutions team, and you will work closely with the team’s designers, project managers, developers, and account executives.
This is a temporary, full-time internship for summer 2025, with a pay rate of $18/hour. Internships have the potential to lead to permanent positions based on the future needs of the organization.
