Our client has been in business for over 60 years as a manufacturer and service provider of wire products, catering to clients across residential and commercial construction, and mining.

Job Summary

Our client is currently seeking a Forklift Operator with solid experience.  He/She receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Keep records and complete inventory reports.

Job Description

• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves or storerooms, warehouse, or storage yard
• Verify Inventory computations by comparing them to physical stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Determine Proper storage methods, identification, and stock locations based on turnover environmental factors, and physical capacities of facilities
• Keep Records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment

Skills Required

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must know how to e-mail, make reports, inventory control, and operate a 25K Forklift (Hyster 250)

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Shift Hours:
  • 1 st Shift. Mon-Thur 6:00 am-6:00 pm. Fri 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Pay Rate/Salary

• $18.00 - $20.00/hr and more depending on experience. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skill set, and/or location
