Prerequisites/Qualifications

• 3-5 yrs of prior accounting and/or finance experience at a major studio, production company, or production (show-level)
• Ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s in finance or accounting with some entertainment experience or looking to get into entertainment
• Ideally is proficient in: Google Workspace (Gmail, GDrive, Google Sheets); Sage Intacct or other similar ERP accounting software suites; Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced); Adobe Acrobat; Industry standard production accounting software (Vista, PSL+, Greenslate)
• Should have a strong, fundamental understanding of GAAP
• Bachelor's Degree or Higher (Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics concentrations preferred)

Responsibilities

• Enter & post transactions to corporate ERP system (Sage Intacct) which include:
• A/P (Accounts Payable [to outside vendors])
• Wires/ACH Requests
• J/E (Journal Entries)
• Creating invoices (billbacks to 3rd parties)
• Reconcile, save, & post bank reconciliations for dedicated development & overhead accounts (Sage Intacct) - monthly
• Organize, save, & update ongoing recurring billing vendor info
• Organize & file digital backup documents (pdf; xlsx) connected to ERP transactions
• Manage, organize, & reconcile corporate AMEX receipts & billing, creating show & 3rd party billback invoices where applicable
• Own & manage content development budget, building out a summarized cost report on a bi-weekly basis
• Submit & process payroll for WGA writers and/or other 3rd party players engaged on development-related projects (Greenslate)
• Audit corporate expense reimbursement backup (Expensify)
• Oversee & process internal administrative payroll for interns + temporary hires (Greenslate)
• Put together ad-hoc analyses on spend, estimates, etc. when needed (Excel)
• Build, own, & manage participations schedule by for each quarter by title
• Receive, compile, & summarize reports re: incoming international & domestic sales receipts & licensing renewals
• RE: participations: Liaise with outside 3rd party vendors re: payment verification, arrivals, deal structure, etc.
• Pull backup per guild & 3rd party participant audit requests, building ad-hoc reports where needed
• Monitor entity structure & collective bargaining agreement expiration timelines
