Core Responsibilities Conduct Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and Property Condition Assessments (PCA), subsurface investigations, remediation work, and/or other project assignments as appropriate. Manage Phase I/II due diligence assessments, including groundwater and soil sampling, and writing of technical reports with recommendations for remediation, as appropriate. Provide oversight to field staff and subcontractors conducting site investigation and remediation projects. Ensure that project deliverables, milestones, and budgets are met. Work closely with senior managers in the coordination of work activities to meet milestones, budgetary limits, deadlines, or other performance indicators. Prepare, review, and submit final reports in accordance with regulations, applicable guidance and policies, and internal quality control standards. Minimum Qualifications BS in Geology, Environmental Science/Engineering, or related field (Masters a plus). Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensed strongly preferred. 5+ years of experience in environmental assessment and remediation projects, contaminated site characterization investigations (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, indoor air), and implementation of remediation programs. Experience with strategic soils management and remediation as part of site redevelopment and building construction preferred. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to successfully execute and prioritize multiple complex tasks simultaneously under various conditions. Demonstrated ability to manage projects on-time and within budget. Proficiency using MS Office Suite. Familiarity with AutoCAD, TurboCAD, and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programs a plus. Physical requirements include the ability to walk job sites during inspections, sometimes on uneven terrain, climbing of ladders to access and evaluate roofing conditions and roof-mounted equipment when conducting PCA projects, and carrying field testing equipment (up to 30 pounds) onto job sites with regularity. The target hiring salary range for a candidate with the experience listed above is from $85,000 - $140,250. This role can be remote for candidates residing in California.
