Job Description

Job Title: Drafter

Location: Spring Valley, NY
Pay Rate: $30-35/hr



Please note the following qualifications:

1. Experience: 5 to 8 years
2. Technical skills: need to be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit. Also need to understand drafting standards and documentation practices.
3. Attention to detail: need to be precise and create accurate plans that are free of errors.
4. Visualization skills: need to be able to convert concepts into detailed drawings.
5. Communication skills: need to be able to communicate with clients via email and phone.
6. Construction knowledge: need to know construction, engineering, surveying, and design techniques. It???s highly preferred that these individuals have experience working for utility companies or transmission and distribution infrastructure projects.

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma is required.


Candidates must be currently local to Spring Valley, NY and any candidates that are not local will not to be considered nor will any ???promises??? of relocating to the Spring Valley, NY be considered. Anyone not willing to work out of the Spring Valley office full time will not be considered.


These candidates would be seconded to our clients drafting department. The estimated duration for these positions is about 6 months.
