Join to apply for the Director Digital Marketing role at Dompé Join to apply for the Director Digital Marketing role at Dompé The Director, Digital Marketing reports to the VP, Global Marketing and will be a critical member of the U.S. organization supporting Dompé’s breakthrough therapy, the first and only ophthalmic biologic product (Oxervate) for patients suffering from neurotrophic keratitis (NK), a rare and progressive eye disease. Oxervate’s primary customers are eye care providers (ECPs) who are managing and treating patients with NK which include the Optometrist (OD), General Ophthalmologist (GO), and Cornea Specialist (CS). The Director, Digital Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the digital brand strategy for Oxervate in the US which includes the development of branded and disease state marketing resources/tactics for ECPs and patients with a goal of growing the prescriber base and the number of patients receiving Oxervate as well as increasing overall disease awareness for NK. The Director, Digital Marketing will collaborate with agency partners, media planners, and internal stakeholders to develop a comprehensive set of digital marketing resources and campaigns to raise awareness of NK and increase education on Oxervate among keys stakeholders (patients and ECPs). The candidate will have experience developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns and resources (health care experience a plus but not required), strong social media marketing skills, and a proven track record of successfully working in cross functional teams, will be self-motivated, excited for the opportunity to raise awareness about NK and Oxervate using the latest digital marketing strategies, evolve the brand’s value proposition fueling sales growth and contributing to the company’s next phase of development and its mission to commercialize innovative products that improve the lives of patients around the world. Preference for a Bay Area or Orange County, CA based candidate but open to remote work for right individual. The core responsibilities of the Director, Oxervate Digital Marketing include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-channel (SEO, SEM, social media, email, website, and content) digital marketing plan that aligns with brand goals.
  • Guide the creation of engaging informative digital content that resonates with ECPs and patients.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve strategic goals.
  • Work cross functionally with PRC (medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance) partners to create impactful and compliant materials that support the brand’s strategy.
  • Partner closely with the insights and analytics team to measure effectiveness of digital campaigns and initiatives. Leverage metrics to refine strategy and meet KPIs. Use data and insights strategically to inform digital marketing decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with Director, HCP Marketing and Assoc. Director Patient & Access Marketing to ensure consistent strategy and messaging is used “cross channel” to reach our target audiences (ECPs & patients).
  • Be an active participant and make valuable contributions to the annual brand planning process. Participate in all workshops and ideation sessions. Assist with development of final plan.
  • Evaluate and assess new, innovative digital tactics, and create a business case that supports the funding and execution of these tactics. Measure and report on ROI.
  • Support the Patient Access team with digital resources that assist ECP’s office staff and patient pull through.
  • Collaborate with a Great Team: Work cross-functionally and compliantly across marketing, sales, market access, and PRC to ensure resources and communications are meeting the needs of customers (patients & payors) and identifying new opportunities to improve the customer experience.

  • A bachelor’s degree, MBA, or master’s level degree a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in omni-channel digital marketing roles with a track record of success (health care experience a plus but not required)
  • Experience managing external vendors including agencies of record (AORs)
  • Experience planning and executing a multi-faceted digital marketing campaign
  • Strong analytical skills and experience measuring success of digital programs
  • A proven track record of self-driven results-oriented work history
  • Experience collaborating with market research to gain customer insights that will lead to activities that drive the business
  • Self-starter that can readily take action on challenges with an appropriate level of planning
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical legal and regulatory requirements and material approval process a plus but not a requirement
  • Experience with cross-functional review committees
