Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. If you have the ability to handle a diverse caseload, have stellar research and writing skills, can communicate effectively, and use today’s technology well, please start your application today! Responsibilities:

  • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
  • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
  • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
  • Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects
  • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required
  • Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm environment
  • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred
  • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
  • Prior experience in Criminal Jury trial cases for a minimum of 3 years
  • Must have significant jury trial experience
  • Must have some professional writing samples
  • Looking for someone who will be a part of our team on a long-term basis
