As a Clinical Specialist at USME you will provide training and education on the safe and effective use of our high-quality movable medical equipment, beds, and therapeutic surfaces, ensuring that healthcare providers can focus on patient healing.

A Day in the Life

  • Evaluate hospital equipment needs and demonstrate how USME’s equipment and services support clinicians in patient care.
  • Organize and conduct product demonstrations and trials, showcasing the features and benefits of our beds and therapeutic surfaces.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with key clinical personnel and co-workers to develop trusted partnerships and coordinate clinical trials. Collaborate with the clinical marketing team to reach clinical, economic, and operational outcomes with our customer partners.
  • Provide marketing and sales support, assist with the development of training materials, and participate in speaker programs and other activities.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of equipment, services, and policies through regular professional development trainings.
  • Analyze customer processes to identify gaps and propose USME solutions that improve performance and company effectiveness.
  • Travel nationally as needed, with an expected travel requirement of approximately 75% All other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

  • Undergrad or advanced degrees, nursing preferred
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience as a practicing clinician
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required credentialling
  • Previous experience as a clinical specialist in sales support and/or direct sales for bed frames and therapeutic support surfaces is preferred.
