Our client in Ambridge, PA is looking for Chemical Blenders

Position Summary:

As a Chemical Blender, you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by blending and packaging chemicals according to precise standards and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality will ensure the consistency and excellence of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate blending equipment to mix chemicals according to specified formulas and procedures.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to rigorous safety guidelines.
- Monitor and adjust blending parameters to achieve exact product specifications.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on finished products to uphold company standards.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of blending activities, including batch records and inventory logs.
- Safely handle and store hazardous materials in compliance with CGMP regulations.
- Assist in materials handling tasks, including receiving, storing, and organizing raw materials and - finished products.
- Utilize forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel to conduct product testing and analysis.
- Participate actively in lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing waste.

Job Requirements

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in chemical blending or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management and materials handling.
- Familiarity with machining equipment used in chemical manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
