CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT/GNA

What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.
Companion Caregiver:
Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships!
Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (walks, movies, games, etc.)
Provide transportation (errands, appointment, shopping, etc.)
Perform household task (light cleaning, laundry, etc.)
Medication reminders
Prep meals for your clients to enjoy.
Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
Personal Care Assistant (CNA Certification required): In addition to some of the above functions, you may:
Assist clients with walking and steps.
Assist clients with toileting and bathing.
Assist clients with dressing and grooming.
Assist clients with eating.
Able to perform non-CNA functions.
Follow care plans created by RN, within the Senior Helpers Scope of Services.
