We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This person will help support our various applications (Dynamics GP,Dynamics 365 BC, Onestream) and reporting systems.

Compensation: 90k+

Job Type : Full-Time

Location: Houston, Texas Galleria Area

  • Troubleshoot Dynamics ERP issues (GP and Business Central)
  • Own and develop relationship with end-users, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes
  • Document business requirements for projects
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
  • Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
  • Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
  • Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
  • Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; training users.
  • Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices;
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Information Science.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Knowledge and experience in Dynamics Business Central
  • Experience in ERP implementation, administration and support
  • Operational Data Warehouse experience a plus
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Must demonstrate basic knowledge or expertise in the following technology disciplines: Servers, Desktop/Laptop/Workstation Computing, Networking, Security, Programming, and/or IT Operations
  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) required.
  • Willing to learn new systems and technology
