Job Title:- Business Analyst with SAP Location : Fremont, CA Job Type:- Contract Job Responsibilities: Collaborates with LAM Global Information Systems (GIS) teams to understand and support their operational requirements, developing and integrating interface solutions from SAP ECC to SAP S/4. Ability to connect multiple operations domains (Planning, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics) and their interdependencies in solution design, build & test phases Collaborate with the BU & GIS in leveraging various Operations Planning & Execution systems (SAP ECC, Custom applications in SAP ECC, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, BI/Dashboards, etc.) to enable the organization's future-state business capabilities Tracking and driving tasks to closure and escalate as required Skills Required: Demonstrated experience writing software requirements and test specifications Ability to understand business functionality and translate into business use cases Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and system architecture standards Experience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies, and ability to deliver on responsibilities during various project phases including: Planning (Blueprint and Spec) Designing (Writing Specs and prototyping) Test Plans (Unit Testing and User acceptance testing) Training/Documentation (Roll-out) Cut-over Project Closure (Post-Mortem) Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities Demonstrated cross functional dependencies expertise Must be able to demonstrate the skills and ability to build effective and productive relationships within and outside the immediate team Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years overall SAP experience with 3+ years of experience with MM, PP, SD (VC) Plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to deploy capabilities Have led in at least one end-to-end project, that included: Analysis, design, configuration, development build, test, and deployment, including training and data conversion Strong problem solving and analytical/critical thinking skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently or with limited direction Additional Qualifications: Previous Experience with SAP S/4 Conversion experience from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 and other applications a plus.
