**FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT**
The Department of Art at Kingsborough Community College is seeking candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Art History for majors and non-majors. Candidates who have experience teaching global survey of Art History and Asian Art are strongly encouraged to apply.
Faculty perform teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. They share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:
* M.A. degree in Art History is required for Adjunct Assistant Professor.
* Ph.D. degree is required in Art History for Adjunct Associate and Adjunct Professor
For Adjunct Lecturer:
* Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
* Preferred Qualification: M.A. degree is required for Art History
Professional experience and/or demonstrated mastery of relevant programs are required for all ranks and positions.
**COMPENSATION**
Adjunct Lecturer: $77.49 - $96.47 per hour
Adjunct Assistant Professor: $ $87.89 - $104.32 per hour
Adjunct Associate Professor: $94.76 - $116.12 per hour
Adjunct Professor: $105.11 - $127.93 per hour
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
